VFW Post 3219, 122 E Mellen St., 23663
Storyteller: Bil Lepp
Listen as Bil Lepp shares the historical account of a tough, fun loving, trouble making soldier. The story of Claude Dolin is dark and brutal in some
places, light and hilarious in others. The events Claude lived through; the battles, the sleepless days and nights in sub-zero temperatures, the
bayonet charges, the violent deaths of his comrades and the silent death of his best friend haunted Claude the rest of his life. Claude’s story will
stay with you as well.
Note: This story includes a graphic depiction of the Battle of the Bulge.
